Red Flag!!
Ever been in a situation that looks so innocent. But then something in your sprit is going off like a loud tornado alarm!! Well there have been a few situations like that in my life and as of late a few in my friends lives. You see we go through life some times in a routine and not really realizing what is going on...what is creeping up... PAY ATTENTION
You know I have a rule of thumb, If you have to question intentions, actions, words... step back and pray. DO NOT proceed with out praying.
Psalms 34:4 Pull me from the trap my enemies set for me, for I find protection in you alone.
My protection is from him. You see I believe in Heaven and I believe in Hell. I believe that there is satan. Not some image of a firey man with a pitchfork, but a true spiritual enemy.
In John 10:10 it says "The thief comes only to steal and (A)kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
In Ephesians 4:27 "Do not give the devil opportunity"
In Ephesians 6:12 "12 Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places." (ERV)
My point is, we are in a spiritual fight. There are going to be temptations being brought across our paths.
What I'm trying to say and something I'm trying to practice is BE AWARE!!! Stand your ground with temptations. Live WITHOUT reproach. Listen to the Holy Spirit when he brings something to your spirit. Get grounded in the word of God!! It is our sword to fight this battle. It's serious. The enemy is out to steal what makes you happy. He does not want happy whole families, healthy couples, healthy churches, lives lived in holiness, joy...
Be aware. Cling to the scriptures. Get into Gods presence. Dwell with him.
Now, on the flip side. YOU and YOU alone are responsible for your actions. If your proceed in an extramarital affair, drugs, lying, stealing.. and so on. Yeah the opportunity might have been presented to you be the powers of darkness, however YOU choose to act.
So pray, abide in scripture so that he may abide in you (John 15) , check yourself, be aware.

This is such a strong post, I loved it!! One of my favorite verses are 1 Peter 5:8-11. The devil is out to get us but we must be firm in our faith!
