2,190 days

As of December 1st it has been 2,190 days of being married to my best friend. On December 1, 2007 I was blessed to become a Mrs. to one of the best people I know.

6 years we have been on this journey. I love how one of my friends described Josh and I's relationship

We have had "quite the love affair"

Which is so true. We  have a passion for one another and a longing to be near one another. I miss him when I'm not with him.

I told him last night when we are apart I feel half of me is missing.

We have faced some hard times. We have been jobless...We have lost....We have been betrayed...

Everything we have been through we have gotten stronger. We are far from perfect. We are selfish at times, forget to pray together, we lack in encouraging one another...

However we are passionate about being better. And truly being an example of what God wants marriage to look like.

Here are a few reasons why I love my Josh...

He always kisses me bye, even if it is just to go into another room

When I'm anxious he is patient and tries to do his best to offer support, he always prays with me

When I'm upset he hates it and tries to fix it

He doesn't let me sit in my pity party

He is so positive!

Sometimes he is a big kid, just like me :)

He loves card tricks lately, so I have my own personal show

He pretty much never tells me no :)

I love that we can talk just by looking at each other.

He loves my family as much as I do

He is the best uncle

He has done kitchen duty almost the whole 6yrs of marriage

He has supported me in everything I do

He gives me great bear hugs

He can pick me up :)

We always laugh together

I could go on & on...

I love you sweetness!

    I love this! It makes me think I need to do a count of how many days, weeks, hours, and minutes Eddie and I have been married. Ha! I think Eddie and Josh sound a lot alike which is a good thing for us! :-)

    Yes, we love Josh! All the praying we did for just the right person to put up with Lauren has paid off! hahaha Just kidding Lala! You two make a great couple, that's why I know it was the Lord that put you together. Love you both very much!!!! Moooooowah! LOL!

One year ago today a new season in my life was manifested. One year ago this morning around 2am we lost our precious baby. Hope would be around 4 months right now had she been meant to stay on this earth. Even though my heart is broken I feel Gods presence with me today, so strong. So I have some exciting news but I can't share until its official... things are still in the works... :) Hopefully I can announce tomorrow!! But since I'm not sure who reads my blog I can't announce it yet.. So moving on before I give in!! Thank you so much for the encouraging words everyone sent after yesterdays post. In fact I kind of feel embarrassed. LOL It was such a pity party. But as you have read and seen I don't really put on a pretense about what is going on in my life on this blog. Right now I'm feeling so excited about my birthday weekend! Its jammed packed the next four days! Tomorrow - Driving to my school location which is about an hour and a half away. Never dreamed...

Starting last Monday this week was a complete roller coaster. Not sure if I could ever explain to anyone how painful it has been. I've struggled with if I should write about my experience. To write about something so close to you can make you seem so vulnerable. Writing has always helped me. I've kept a journal since I was nine. I've always been very analytical with my feelings and things going on around me. Which is why I have a journal, a prayer journal, and a blog :) Crazy, I know. I usually don't have much time to write in any of them, but the blog. I wonder how many women suffer silently because of what this one even does to us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I don't want to suffer alone. I needed to know that what I'm feeling is normal. Even though people can be very sympathetic, some seem like it is no big deal. It was a big deal.
