Cooking with Aunt LaLa: TLC Chicken Wraps and Grams Slaw
This is my first ever cooking post! So bear... bare... (whatever) with me! It was so hard getting in the groove of cooking only to remember "crap, I didn't take a picture of the wrappers" But don't worry I wasn't above getting them out of the trash can! Don't worry they were on top and I know that my blogger friends would love the photos! So.. first up:
TLC Chicken Wraps created by Aunt LaLa
Ingredients:
Makes 4 wraps
Preheat oven to 425 -450 (depending on your oven)
Season Chicken breast with your lemon pepper salt and the coarse black pepper
place in oven for approx 45-55 minutes.
Take chicken out of oven pour just a drizzle of your teriyaki and poke just a few holes in the chicken.
Turn oven off and replace chicken into oven
While the chicken is in the oven get your 1/2 bunch of cilantro and lime juice mix those ingredients into a small ball
warm tortilla shells according to package
Take chicken out of oven. I cut the chicken into strip but at a angle and thin.
Put chicken in a bowl and add a good amount of teriyaki. This is where it becomes your own - I love sauce so mine chicken was covered mmm.. (Notice the drizzle..)
After you mix the chicken placed the chicken in your wraps, add your cilantro-lime mix, fold or roll and enjoy
